The Kings of the Sevens circuit continues at Poynder Park on Saturday 5th May 2012. This year there will be a Pool format rather than a knockout format - something Kelso adopted for their centenary tournament. The winners of Pool A will face Pool B in the semi final. Kelso Rugby Football Club

Kelso RFC was founded in 1876.

The club has had great success in Sevens over the past 30 years and has regularly produced international players for Scotland, the most recent being Ross Ford who is one of the 5 British lions.

The others are Ken Smith, Roger Baird, John Jeffrey and Alan Tait. John Jeffrey is the most capped player from the club with 40 appearance. Ross Ford, however,is closing in on that total as he, currently, sits on 35.
