Gala Rugby Football Club

Gala RFC was formed in 1875 and play our home games at Netherdale.

The Club currently competes in the RBS Premiership and the Border League.

Having contested the final of the first ever 7s final against host club Melrose in 1883 we ran our first “sports” the following year and contained athletics and goal kicking competitions as well as rugby. 2009 saw our 125th anniversary tournament which saw Selkirk run out convincing winners against Melrose in the final.
